Mars has been a geeky gaymer since day one. They were a very shy kid so they spent their time escaping their small hometown hell with video games and horror films. Now they sing and play guitar in Aye Nako, writing songs about trauma, healing and anti-blackness.

Audre's Revenge is a collective of creatives, determined to promote visibility of QTIPOC in the Sci-Fi and Horror Universe. We hope to create a space to network film makers, writers, actors and artists, to inspire timeless and important work. Here's a few folks that are actively involved.

Monika Estrella Negra is the co-founder of ARF and Black and Brown Punk Show Chicago. She is an avid reader, lover of all nerdy things, a community organizer and budding screenwriter/filmmaker. 'Flesh' is her first feature. She envisions the world as a giant film, with narratives begging to be told.

Co-founder of ARF, Mariam B loves playing loud hardcore, doing punk stuff and all things horror. As a writer she explores intersections of ethnicity, color, gender-fucking in punk  and horror. M studied Theology and Religious Studies, which she often applies to her horror lens and believes that horror and sci-fi are true mediums for QTIBIPOC folx to thrive.

Destiny Washington (b. 1991) is an emerging mixed media artist born and based in Brooklyn, NY.  Her work, under the alias of Brooklyn Waste, explores the complexities of life with multiple societal marginalizations and the “voluntary” marginalization of fascination to outsider interests.

Self proclaimed as afro-dystopian art, Destiny Washington confronts her politics, fears, doubts and realities through countercultural aesthetic and process like screenprinting, collaging, scanner/copy art and graphic design. Heavily influenced what is considered grimy, street and throwaway, Brooklyn Waste passionately advocates for the legitimacy of urban and counterculture. She is an avid horror movie enthusiast, metalhead and stoner.

Sunday Banks is from Philadelphia, obsessed and inspired by all art forms, and creativity. As a writer, producer, editor and big dreamer, she's worked on and at numerous films and film festivals. She's very excited to join Audre's Revenge Film. She's also a huge fan of baseball and falafel.

Maya Lori is a multidisciplinary artist, often creating her work within written, video, drawn, fiber and painted realms. She was born in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago amongst family and friends with complex characters and histories, Lori identifies as having grown within liminal yet emotionally and energetically charged spaces and seeks to reflect this in her work. Through the process of creation, she seeks an alignment of self, and intends to tell stories through avatars;  nameless and christened characters she paints and writes. Onscreen particularly features the inspired involvement of her own friends as themselves or imagined people. What is born are esoteric, layered conversations and explorations of identity, femininity, Blackness, physicality, voyeurism, fear, anger, love and youth.
